EAAS News

The call for applications for EAAS postgraduate travel grants is now open. For more information, visit https://eaas.eu/eaas-grants/travel-grants. Please note that as of this year, applicants will need to submit proof of membership in their national/regional association for at least a year prior. To get this document, contact PAAS Secretary, Dr. Tomasz Jacheć, at tomasz.jachec@uwm.edu.pl.

You are also encouraged to submit your unpublished book manuscripts to be considered for the Rob Kroes Award. The laureate is awarded 500 EUR and an opportunity to publish their manuscript in Brill. The call is open to American Studies scholars at any stage of their career. More information here: https://eaas.eu/eaas-grants/rob-kroes-publication-award.

Please note that the EAAS mailing list is now operated by JiscMail. If you have not done so already, please subscribe at https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?A0=EAASLIST. Once the new website is up and running (which should happen shortly), all members will be asked to disseminate CfPs and other news through both the mailing list and the website.

We are also happy to share that at the last Board Meeting our collegue, Izabella Kimak, was elected Secretary General of EAAS. Please reach her out with any questions or concerns you may have.

On a more personal note, I am happy to share that at the last Board Meeting I was elected Secretary General of EAAS. Please reach out with any questions or concerns you may have.
