New publications by M. Miernik
Mirosław Aleksander Miernik of the Institute of English Studies at the University of Warsaw published two articles in high-impact journals:
“Not Only Puritans and Snobs: The Dynamic Between the Urban and the Provincial in the Works of Elizabeth Strout” in Critique: Studies in Contemporary Fiction, and
“Between Neoliberalism and Postmodernism: Image, Rock and Roll, and Authenticity in Jennifer Egan’s A Visit from the Goon Squad” in LIT: Literature Interpretation Theory.
Both articles are available in open access thanks to two IDUB mini-grants. His upcoming book, an edited volume entitled An Accidental Pope: Essays on Frederick Rolfe’s Hadrian The Seventh will be out on Bloomsbury in December.
